Which Here to Slay expansion should I buy?
There are three expansions. None of them can be played on its own: every one adds to the Here to Slay base game, and they all mix together.
Start with the base game
If you don't own Here to Slay yet, you need the base game first. It has everything for 2–6 players: a 115-card deck, 6 Party Leaders, 15 Monsters and the dice.
The three expansions at a glance
- Warriors & Druids: adds the Warrior and Druid hero classes, with 31 cards, 2 new Party Leaders and 2 new Monsters.
- Berserkers & Necromancers: adds the Berserker and Necromancer hero classes, with 31 cards, 2 new Party Leaders and 2 new Monsters.
- Here to Sleigh: the festive one. Holiday artwork, 22 Gift cards and checklists that give you a new way to win.
Which one first?
- You want more heroes and monsters: Warriors & Druids or Berserkers & Necromancers. They're the same size and each adds two new classes, so pick the classes that sound more fun.
- You want something different for game night: Here to Sleigh. It changes how you win, not just who's in your party.
- You want all of it: the bundle has the base game and all three expansions, and costs less than buying the four boxes separately.
Buying it as a present?
- They don't own it: the base game, or the bundle if you want the whole lot in one go.
- They already play it: any expansion works with their base game. Here to Sleigh is the obvious Christmas pick.
